ISO/IEC 42001:2023
Shows that our AI systems are developed and managed responsibly, transparently and with appropriate risk controls.
Certification in progressISO/IEC 42001 is the first international management-system standard written specifically for artificial intelligence — how an organisation governs the AI it builds and deploys, not just how the AI itself performs. AI is increasingly central to how Expertini ATS scores and ranks candidates, which is exactly why we believe this governance needs to be independently audited rather than self-declared.
Fairness & Bias
We work to identify and mitigate inappropriate bias in AI-assisted processes.
Human Oversight
AI supports decision-making; appropriate human oversight remains important.
Privacy
Personal information used by AI-enabled features is handled according to applicable privacy and security requirements.
Transparency
We aim to clearly communicate where AI is used within Expertini products.
EU AI Act: we track applicable requirements as AI becomes more central to Expertini ATS's candidate-scoring features, and align our governance programme with them alongside ISO/IEC 42001.
- Candidate Match Score — the AI-assisted scoring feature in Expertini ATS
- AI-assisted content drafting (job descriptions, cover letter tools)
- Governance, risk management and human-oversight processes around these AI features
ISO 42001, answered
Why does ISO 42001 certification matter?
It means an accredited, independent auditor — not Expertini itself — has verified that we actually run the AI Management System programme the standard requires, rather than us simply saying we do.
Where can I get the audit report or certificate?
ISO 42001 is still certification in progress — there is no certificate to publish yet. Once it's issued, it will appear in our document center. In the meantime, security and procurement teams can request our current status directly.
Can I reference this in my own compliance assessment?
Once issued, yes — you're welcome to cite Expertini ATS's ISO 42001 certification as part of your own vendor due diligence. You remain responsible for assessing your own organisation's use of the platform against your compliance requirements.
